　　“媽媽，你什么要我學(xué)英語？”五歲的女兒在去英語學(xué)校的路上，一本正經(jīng)地問我。我正在思考晚上一個重要的專訪的事情，因此心不在焉地作答：“這個你還不明白嗎？”女兒抬起頭，眼睛直視著我說：“難道就因為英國比我們強大，我們就要學(xué)習(xí)他們的語言嗎？”“什么？”我驚訝地看著女兒。“媽媽，你知道嗎？現(xiàn)在也有很多外國人在學(xué)習(xí)我們的漢語呢！”女兒一板一眼地繼續(xù)她的話題，“那你為什么還要我學(xué)英語，而且要學(xué)的最好呢？”

　　我不禁暗自感慨：眼前這個小腦袋里竟然在思索這么深奧的問題？我可不能等閑視之，一定要給女兒一個圓滿的答案。告訴她我們要學(xué)好英語以便學(xué)習(xí)國外先進(jìn)的技術(shù)，為中國的繁榮昌盛而努力；告訴她熟練地掌握英語，可以更好地與外國人交流溝通，增廣見聞，就像《天方夜譚》中那個能聽懂動物說話的人一樣“萬能”；還是說多學(xué)一門語言就是增長了一項技能，如同游戲中的主人公又得到了一個克敵致勝的'法寶……思之再三，我反問女兒，“你長大以后不是想周游世界嗎？而英語是世界上廣泛使用的語言，如果不學(xué)好英語，你怎么去��？”“對��！你說的對！我要像格列佛那樣周游世界，不會英語怎么行？而且到那個時候，我還要教他們說漢語呢！”女兒心滿意足地朝我點點頭說。

　　目送女兒蹦蹦跳跳地走進(jìn)教室的時候，我在心里對女兒說：“媽媽之所以沒有給你講那么多形而上的道理，是因為媽媽覺得：其實學(xué)好一種語言，首先是為自己的心靈打開了一扇窗，讓我們可以看到、聽到、感受到外面的精彩世界。我希望你能夠把學(xué)習(xí)英語當(dāng)作一件快樂的事情來做，而且我也并不要求你去‘考級’！”然而，真的可以快樂學(xué)習(xí)嗎？

　　“這么簡單，你都不會？好好說，如果再不會，你今天晚上就甭想看《比克曼的世界》(兒童科普片)了！”先生一副恨鐵不成鋼的樣子，給女兒下了“最后通牒”。原來，淘氣貪玩的小女兒在英語課上專心致志地玩遍了身邊所有可以玩的東西，所以回家后只好讓先生加班加點地給她補課。本來小孩子注意力不集中是常有的事情，我們并沒有責(zé)怪她。但是，在補課的時候，她依然東張西望的樣子終于惹惱了先生……

　　“This is my father。”女兒抗議似的大聲說�！澳氵@不是說的很好嗎？我不跟你急，你就不好好說！”先生無奈地說。“哈哈！小淘氣！”女兒開始志得意滿地自我“表揚”。如此較量了幾個回合，先生“悲壯”地說：“這究竟是誰教誰英語呢？她倒是快樂了，我可是被她整慘了！”我同情地安慰先生，“老師說她最近表現(xiàn)得不錯，已經(jīng)能夠不亂動?xùn)|西了，就是還有點‘走神’。我們慢慢來吧，前途是光明的，道路是曲折的！”“是啊，冬天來了，春天還會遠(yuǎn)嗎？”小女兒搖頭晃腦地在一旁補充。

　　It was one of the last days before Christmas， and the as sistants in the large store had their hands full serving eager Christmas shoppers。

　　At one counter an old lady was choosing gloves red ones for her daugher in law， light blue ones for her niece， pink ones for her grand daughter， green ones for her sister and by the time she had found what she wanted， the counter was covered with pairs of all colors and sizes。

　　When the salesgirl had finally written out the bill and was about to turn to the next customer with a tired voice。 "Thank you very much， madam，" the old lady suddenly cried out， "Oh， I almost forgot。。。"——"Anything else， madam?" said the girl， "Yes，" began the old lady， "I＇d like to buy another pair， but I＇ m not quite sure about what exactly I should cloose。 I wonder if you could help me。" "Certainly， madam"， was the girl＇s reply。 The old lady then went on to explain that what she was looking for was a pair of gloves for a girl of her age。 She was not at ail sure what color to choose， and the design was a problem too。

　　The tired girl did her best to help the old lady make up her mind， showing her ail kinds of gloves。

　　At last the chosen pair of gloves were wrapped up and paid for as well， and as the girl was about to turn to the next customer， the old lady handed her a little parcel and said， "These now， dear， these are for you and thank you for being so patient。 I do hope you have a merry Christmas !"

　　My summer vacation of this year was very enjoyable. I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays. It is very beautiful there. There are green plants, clear rivers, lovely animals and kind people. I spent two weeks helping my grandfather do some farm work there. I wrote down what happened in my diary every day.

　　Besides that, I helped the children in the neighbourhood with their lessons. I helped them read English and improve their spoken English. Their parents thanked me for this.

　　Then I went to the zoo whit my sister.I was very happy.Because I saw a lot of animals.They were very lovely.So I took photos of all animals.I liked the butterflies best.They were colourful and beautiful.My sister liked it too.

　　第一個上場的是三（1）班，他們給大家?guī)砹恕袄莵砹恕钡墓适拢蠹铱吹媒蚪蛴形�，都以為后面的�?jié)目肯定越來越精彩。果然三（2）班來了個“小紅帽”，還不錯。沒想到，后面幾個班接二連三的都是小紅帽，有個同學(xué)在臺上楞了好半天不出聲，肯定是忘詞了，還有的說話聲音太小，我們坐在后排的人，根本就聽不到，還以為在表演啞劇呢。大家都往椅子上一靠，不想再看了。

　　終于主持人報出了“SnowWhite”，輪到我們班上場了。所有的人立刻坐直了身子，脖子伸得老高。郭伊一登場，我們就暗暗地為臺上加油，壓低聲音不停地叫到：“射擊！射擊！”“老虎威猛點！”就怕他們忘詞��！同學(xué)們精彩的表演讓老師不停用相機追拍著鏡頭……表演結(jié)束了，我們真想沖上臺去，為他們歡呼，其他班的同學(xué)又是嫉妒又是羨慕。

　　最后一個上臺的是三（8）班，他們會表演什么呢？會不會超過我們？結(jié)果一上臺，居然還是小紅帽，我的天哪！
