The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them.
Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.

我從幼兒園就開(kāi)始學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)了。剛開(kāi)始學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)只是因?yàn)樯嫌⒄Z(yǔ)課的'時(shí)候，能和小朋友一起玩游戲、唱英語(yǔ)歌曲，覺(jué)得非常有趣，所以才走進(jìn)這個(gè)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)班。隨著學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容的深入，學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)間的增加，我也曾有過(guò)放棄學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的念頭，甚至還為這件事哭過(guò)鼻子。但是，當(dāng)我想起“持之以恒”的故事時(shí)，我覺(jué)得自己克服困難，繼續(xù)堅(jiān)持下去。
