胖大海看起來(lái)像橄欖球，還像眼睛。全身咖啡色，布滿細(xì)紋，像老人臉上的皺紋，大小像個(gè)棗。如果用鼻子聞，有一股濃濃的草藥味。用手摸可以知道胖大海凹凸不平，很粗糙，很硬．

李老師說(shuō)胖大海不僅可以止渴化痰治咽喉腫痛，還會(huì)變身呢．同學(xué)們不約而同地?cái)D上來(lái)，只見(jiàn)老師拿起一個(gè)透明的玻璃杯，把胖大海放進(jìn)去，再倒入熱水，只見(jiàn)胖大海浮了起來(lái)，像一艘船在水面上行駛，還吐著泡泡．過(guò)了一會(huì)兒，身上像長(zhǎng)滿了青苔似的，水也跟著變黃了．又過(guò)了一會(huì)兒，露出幾根毛茸茸的東西，好像有觸角在水里蠕動(dòng)，像海蜇像珊瑚．胖大海還在變大，最后占滿了整個(gè)杯子．
