這天，八戒匆忙趕到，卻發(fā)現(xiàn)早朝堂里空無(wú)一人，連老師太上老君都沒(méi)來(lái)，他覺(jué)得很奇怪：這么晚了，這里怎沒(méi)沒(méi)人？可能不上早朝了，但他們都上哪兒去啦？想完，他就乘云來(lái)到太上老君的府上，見(jiàn)老君不在府上，就東張西望，突然，他發(fā)現(xiàn)老君的書(shū)桌上有一些書(shū)，他便過(guò)去看，發(fā)現(xiàn)是英語(yǔ)書(shū)，正巧，老君來(lái)了，八戒問(wèn)：“今天怎么不上早朝？再說(shuō)了，你們學(xué)英語(yǔ)干嘛？”老君說(shuō)：“今年玉帝讓我們?nèi)ネ鈬?guó)旅游開(kāi)開(kāi)眼界，要學(xué)好英語(yǔ)，現(xiàn)在還有三個(gè)月期限，還上什么早朝？趕快抓緊時(shí)間學(xué)英語(yǔ)吧！不學(xué)就晚啦！”八戒說(shuō)：“原來(lái)如此！我要學(xué)，但讓哪兒學(xué)？”“去你大師兄在水簾洞辦的“悟空優(yōu)級(jí)英語(yǔ)培訓(xùn)班”呀！”
“哈！這個(gè)猴子，什么時(shí)候由神仙成英語(yǔ)高手了？”說(shuō)完，他駕上云彩來(lái)到水簾洞，只見(jiàn)水簾洞上面有一塊精美的大牌，上面寫(xiě)著“優(yōu)級(jí)英語(yǔ)培訓(xùn)班”，底下又用英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)了一遍，他進(jìn)去一看，發(fā)現(xiàn)悟空正在上面講課，就走過(guò)去說(shuō)：“猴哥，我來(lái)學(xué)英語(yǔ)了�！薄斑�！真是太陽(yáng)從西邊出來(lái)了！你這懶鬼也知道學(xué)了！”“嘿！猴哥，我也有勤快的時(shí)候嘛！”“行，你找個(gè)位子坐下吧，只要你肯學(xué)，三個(gè)月后，你就可以去領(lǐng)背包旅游了。”八戒聽(tīng)完，就像悟空要了一套學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的用具，到一個(gè)座位上坐下了，由于悟空教得好管得嚴(yán)，八戒很快改掉了懶的毛病，他現(xiàn)在非常喜歡學(xué)英語(yǔ)，每天早拿一個(gè)饅頭就去上課了，結(jié)果休息時(shí)他在讀，甚至放學(xué)了他還在讀，早上帶的饅頭竟只吃了五分之一！
