摘要：如何培養(yǎng)學生英語閱讀能力是一個當務之急的課題。尤其是農(nóng)村英語閱讀教學，面臨著越來越嚴峻的挑戰(zhàn)。本文就農(nóng)村英語閱讀教學所面臨的困難做了細致的分析，并找出合適的對策予以解決，并指出了教師在學生的閱讀教學中發(fā)揮著重要的作用。

Abstract:  How to cultivate students’ reading ability is an urgent affair. The teaching of English language reading in the country is especially facing more and more austere challenges. The author of this article has analysed in detail the difficulties in the teaching reading and proposed some proper solutions to them. She has also pointed out that teachers play a very important role in the students’ reading teaching of the language.
