通過(guò)本節(jié)課的學(xué)習(xí)學(xué)生能掌握以下基本句型:How often do you brush your teeth? I brush my teeth twice a day. 本節(jié)課的總體設(shè)計(jì)體現(xiàn)了新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)中的從學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣、生活體驗(yàn)和認(rèn)知水平出發(fā),倡導(dǎo)體驗(yàn)、實(shí)踐、參與、合作與交流的學(xué)習(xí)方式和任務(wù)型的教學(xué)途徑的教學(xué)理念。
預(yù)想的效果是:學(xué)生感受到課堂45分鐘大多數(shù)時(shí)間是在做一件有意義而且較為感興趣的事,這種愉悅的心情促使學(xué)生自主、創(chuàng)造性地完成任務(wù),即培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行實(shí)際交際的能力。這種體驗(yàn)和感悟是新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的基本要求。

Lead-in 由小實(shí)驗(yàn)導(dǎo)入我們應(yīng)愛(ài)護(hù)我們的牙齒。
This experiment simulates the protection power of Fluoride.
What you’ll need:
1 bottle of Fluoride rinse solution (available from your dentist, local dental supply company and some pharmacies)
2 eggs
1 bottle of white vinegar
3 containers
What to do:
Pour four inches of Fluoride rinse solution into one of the containers and then place an egg in the solution. Let it sit for five minutes. Remove the egg. Pour four inches of vinegar into each of the remaining two containers. Put the egg that has been treated with the Fluoride into one container of vinegar and the untreated egg in the other container of vinegar.
What will happen:
One egg will start to bubble as the vinegar (an acid) starts to attack the minerals in the egg shell. Which egg do you think will start to bubble?

3. 由學(xué)生brainstorm保護(hù)牙齒的正確的方法。并發(fā)給學(xué)生表格在小組內(nèi)對(duì)小組的成員進(jìn)行問(wèn)卷調(diào)查。

4. 小組內(nèi)調(diào)查并做完報(bào)告后,小組內(nèi)討論什么是正確保護(hù)牙齒的方法, 并選出最講究牙齒衛(wèi)生的標(biāo)兵。
5. 擴(kuò)展話題:

課后反思:
本節(jié)課的設(shè)計(jì)與學(xué)生的日常生活緊密相連,所以任務(wù)的設(shè)計(jì)具有真實(shí)性。
首先由一個(gè)小的實(shí)驗(yàn)引入本課,這樣可以引起學(xué)生的興趣,并能幫助學(xué)生意識(shí)到保護(hù)牙齒的重要性。并能讓學(xué)生的注意力馬上集中到課上來(lái)。第二步,通過(guò)pair work讓學(xué)生互相了解彼此的刷牙習(xí)慣并比較有什么不同。第三步,讓學(xué)生小組討論出什么是保護(hù)牙齒的正確方法。 并通過(guò)問(wèn)卷的形式,在小組內(nèi)評(píng)選出保護(hù)牙齒的小衛(wèi)士。
