不過(guò)自古以來(lái)，計(jì)算復(fù)活節(jié)的方法十分復(fù)雜，拉丁文Computus（計(jì)算）一字更專(zhuān)指計(jì)算復(fù)活節(jié)的方法，而羅馬教會(huì)及東正教會(huì)的計(jì)算亦略有差異，所以東西方復(fù)活節(jié)可在不同日子出現(xiàn)。1997年，國(guó)際普世教會(huì)協(xié)會(huì)在敘利亞召開(kāi)會(huì)議時(shí)，曾建議改革計(jì)算復(fù)活節(jié)的方式，并建議統(tǒng)一東西教會(huì)的復(fù)活節(jié)，但至今絕大部分國(guó)家仍沒(méi)有跟隨。
