《課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》提出要培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的祖國意識(shí)和國際視野,因此本課抓住機(jī)會(huì)讓學(xué)生比較中國和英國不同的生日習(xí)俗,讓學(xué)生不會(huì)隨著中國與國際接軌反而忘了中國傳統(tǒng)的生日習(xí)俗.為了不使?jié)B透文化意識(shí)像蜻蜓點(diǎn)水一帶而過,同時(shí)學(xué)生的英語水平有限,采用教師出示圖并介紹,而后有一個(gè)小練習(xí)了解學(xué)生的理解程度.同時(shí)該環(huán)節(jié)有助于發(fā)展學(xué)生的聽力.
在該練習(xí)后教師鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生課后進(jìn)一步查詢相關(guān)的資料,以更擴(kuò)大自己的視野.培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自學(xué)意識(shí).

上課初馬上提出學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù),讓學(xué)生帶著明確的學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)學(xué)習(xí).為照顧差異,任務(wù)既有英文也有中文,讓學(xué)困生更好的了解學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù).
"生活即教育"通過創(chuàng)設(shè)讓學(xué)生幫助找東西的場(chǎng)景,先復(fù)習(xí)舊知識(shí)in,而后引出新單詞on,under的學(xué)習(xí),以舊帶新,降低學(xué)習(xí)難度.列舉多個(gè)用相同發(fā)音規(guī)律的單詞培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自主發(fā)現(xiàn)和總結(jié)發(fā)音規(guī)律的能力.
通過手勢(shì)讓學(xué)生更好的明白新單詞的意思.
教育心理學(xué)研究表明,課堂及時(shí)復(fù)習(xí)要比六小時(shí)以后復(fù)習(xí)的效率高出四倍.因此在新單詞學(xué)習(xí)到一定階段時(shí)采用看,畫的方式,了解學(xué)生對(duì)單詞的理解程度.
課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)特別強(qiáng)調(diào)要關(guān)注每個(gè)學(xué)生的情感,激發(fā)他們學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣,幫助他們建立學(xué)習(xí)的成就感和自信心,使他們?cè)趯W(xué)習(xí)過程中發(fā)展綜合語言運(yùn)用能力,在本環(huán)節(jié)采用動(dòng)畫將物品不斷的累加或抽取來練習(xí)on和under使學(xué)生能聯(lián)想到平時(shí)常玩的疊積木,從而發(fā)現(xiàn)生活處處有英語,對(duì)英語更充滿興趣.
課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)理念之一：開發(fā)課程資源,拓展學(xué)用渠道,因此在本環(huán)節(jié)充分利用課文練習(xí)三的圖案改頭換面成為一個(gè)memory game在保持興趣的同時(shí)充分利用手頭現(xiàn)有的學(xué)習(xí)資料.
學(xué)習(xí)課文通過提出兩個(gè)問題分層次完成,從易到難.
學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)分步驟提出,先讓學(xué)生看圖,討論,介紹大明其他禮物所在的位置,主要練習(xí)學(xué)生聽,說的能力；第二個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)讓學(xué)生擺放自己要給大明的禮物,并寫成一封信,既與課文聯(lián)系上,又培養(yǎng)學(xué)生動(dòng)手和寫的能力,落實(shí)三年級(jí)英語要達(dá)到一級(jí)教學(xué)目標(biāo)中能正確書寫26個(gè)字母和詞組.
有的同學(xué)粘貼圖片,有的同學(xué)書寫句子,有的同學(xué)讀信件,在活動(dòng)中培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的合作意識(shí).
評(píng)價(jià)由學(xué)生自己完成,在學(xué)習(xí)中培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自評(píng)和互評(píng)意識(shí).
