大家好！
兩年前，我從xx英語教育院校畢業(yè)，躊躇滿志地從大學(xué)校門里走出來，滿懷信心地踏進(jìn)了這滿是孩子們的天堂。在我開始接任四年級(jí)二班的英語教程那一刻，我的心情忐忑不安，不知能否把課上好，當(dāng)我真正走上工作崗位，走上四二班教室的講臺(tái)時(shí)，面對(duì)一個(gè)個(gè)鮮活可愛的面孔，面對(duì)一雙雙求知的眼睛，我總是一次次默默的告訴自己，要努力，要加油，要成為深受學(xué)生歡迎的'好老師。
有人說兒童是一本書雖然要讀懂這本書并非易事，但要成為一位出色的教師就必須去讀它，有人說，兒童是花木，教師是園丁，園丁悉心照料著花木，但需要尊重它們自然地成長(zhǎng)。實(shí)際上，兒童比花木要復(fù)雜的多，教師的工作比園丁的工作也復(fù)雜的多，盡管他們擁有著共同或共通的規(guī)律。法國文學(xué)家雨果在他的詩里曾經(jīng)寫到：“花是尊貴的，果實(shí)是甜美的，讓我們都來做葉吧，因?yàn)槿~，是平凡而謙遜的�！蔽矣X得這首詩就是為教師寫的，因?yàn)榻處熅拖衲悄瞰I(xiàn)的綠葉，時(shí)時(shí)刻刻襯托著鮮花的嬌艷。今天，在慶祝教師節(jié)的日子里，我榮幸地站上這方講臺(tái)，誦讀這樣意味深長(zhǎng)的詩句，即將開始我至真至誠的講述，我心中無比激動(dòng)，也感到萬分的驕傲自豪。
時(shí)光匆匆，轉(zhuǎn)眼間我已走過了四年的從教生涯。雖然在大家看來這段時(shí)間有些短暫。但細(xì)數(shù)往昔歲月的點(diǎn)點(diǎn)滴滴，我還是要長(zhǎng)嘆：生活原來給了我們那么多感動(dòng)。為了這真情付出后得到的感動(dòng)，我一直在追求著。剛剛參加工作時(shí)，信心百倍。記得第一次以教師的身份走進(jìn)課堂，感覺一切都是那樣美好。然而，醉酒方知酒味濃，為師才知為師難。一段時(shí)間之后，我先前良好的自我感覺早就一掃而空，面對(duì)一群求知欲渴的孩子們，我才真正意識(shí)到教師職業(yè)是何等的艱辛和瑣碎，三尺講臺(tái)站上去容易，要站好可真難��！
每個(gè)人都希望自己的人生風(fēng)和日麗，鶯歌燕舞。但月有陰晴圓缺，人有旦夕禍福，挫折和失敗總是不斷地踩痛我們的心。我們是把失意的怨氣撒在孩子身上，還是收起此時(shí)內(nèi)心的苦楚用微笑面對(duì)純真可愛的孩子？我想沒有人愿意選擇前者，因?yàn)槟愕男闹杏袗郏◆斞赶壬芯湓挕敖逃侵哺c愛的”。是的，愛是教育的源泉，教師有了愛，才會(huì)用伯樂的眼光去發(fā)現(xiàn)孩子們的閃光點(diǎn)，才會(huì)對(duì)自己的教育對(duì)象充滿了信心和愛心，才會(huì)有追求卓越的精神和創(chuàng)新的精神。
今天，我是一名小學(xué)英語教師，愛我的學(xué)生，我會(huì)像母親一樣無私和不求索�。粣畚业膶W(xué)生，我會(huì)像手足一樣把心和他們貼得更近；愛我的學(xué)生，我會(huì)像朋友一樣與他們風(fēng)雨同舟；愛我的學(xué)生，我會(huì)不溺愛不袒護(hù)，在他們跌倒時(shí)，鼓勵(lì)他們勇敢的站起來！我相信“人民教師”這光榮而神圣的稱謂，它總能讓我擁有無窮的力量。

it’s my great pleasure to stand here to present my speech—change the world，change ourselves。
it’s noticable that western holidays are becoming increasingly popular dayby day， while chinese traditional festivals are being somewhat neglected。 notlong before about 10 doctors in beijing university and qinghua unversityannounced that we should reject the invasion of western holidays ，because theyregard western holidays as an challenge against our traditional festivals andculture。
frankly speaking， i don’t quite agree with them。indeed， we should neverneglect or even discard our traditonal festivals as china boasts a brillianthistory and splendid traditions。 (examples)。but why can’t we absorb themeaningful western holidays and culture。
there are obvious reasons why some western holidays are so popular inchina。 on the one hand， some of the western holidays which we chinese don’t haveare reasonable and meaningful， such as father’s day and april fool’s day etc。 onthe other hand，the prevalence of globalization enables western culture toprevail in china。 overwhelmed by such a trend，chinese unconsiciously getinvolved in western holidays and culture。
with the further development of the whole world， the cultural communicationbetween different countries and nations becomes faster and more and moreimportant。 we are indeed from different nations， but we are the citizens of thesame world， so the outstanding culture of different nations is the commom wealthof everyone on the earth。the only way for us to protect our traditional cultureis to reject the foreign culture? the answer is definitely no。 what we ought todo is to spare no effort to educate chinese to get to know and treasure oursplendid traditions instead of rejecting foreign culture。 only by educating canwe set our confidence and belief towards our culture。 only by educating can wepreserve and promote the wealth that our ancesters left for us。
at last i’d like to share a famouse saying of gandhi with all of you ，thatis:if you want to change the world， then you must change yourself first。”

Thanks for your coming, I fell so happy , I have this chance to stand thereto share my ideas about my hometown with you all.
A culture creats a city, the water and soil bring up the people. At thefoot of Erlang mountain, in the middle of Sichuan province, lies a small townnamed Tian Quan. I am proud to say: it is my hometown.
Wherever I go, Tian Quan stays in my deep memory forever. I can not forgetthe place where I was born and grow up, I can not forget the place wheresurrounded by green mountains and water, I can not forget the good and honestpeople who working hard in there, I can not forget every river, every streetthere.
Standing at the top of the WenBi mountain, you will catch a bird’s eye viewof the whole Tian Quan. You will find it is a beautiful picture including themordern colour and old smell.
Looking at the lovly provious animals , such as panda, Takin, Goldenmonkey. You will thinks the nature has special power to make life sowonderful.
My hometown has a long history of culture. There is thetea-horse-accient-way, which attracts Chinese and foreign tourists to visit .Walking on the tea-horse-accient-way, you can’t help sign in regret how long ourculture is!
Tian Quan is also famous for it’s culture of tea. In summer , the farmerswork on the tea plantations, you will regard it as a lively picture. If you havea chance to work on the tea plantations, you can’t miss it! You can enjoy thetea and learn more about tea at the same time .How wonderful it is!
I want to say a song for my hometown, but I don’t know what kinds of musicis fit for her, I want to write a poem for her, but I don’t know what words candescribe her.
Everyday is a new beginning , put you hands together , give a smile to theland, say a words to Tian Quan : you will in my heart , forever.

some say growing up in rich family promotes children's personality andcharacter. some think otherwise. what's your opinion? why?
well, it's quite a question argued by people all the time. i think aperson's personality has little relation to his family economic level. it'scommonly said that a child in rich family will has more chances and betterchoice for his study. however, if the kid himself isn't aware of this, that isall in vain. it's not unusual that many children from rich family are quite rudeand conceited although they are always receive the best education. then, howabout the poor family's children? there is another saying that adversitycultivates heroes. to be honest, i disagree with it too. poor children shouldlearn harder and catch every chance to strengthen themselves. however, thereality is often not like that. subjectively speaking, poor children are easy tofeel inferior and thus can't study well. even if they study well, they hardly dowell in practicing ability. objectively speaking, poor children can hardlyreceive good and plentiful education because of the economic limit. that willcause deficiency in some literal or artistic talent such as music or dance.therefore, i think children's personality have little relation to their familysituation.

My name is Dongqi Yang from china, I am horror to be here today and I amvery happy to receive this award.
As you can imagine, as international students in Australia, the biggestchallenge is English,
I remembered that when I come here first time, there is a party in thehouse of my home stay. During the time, they played jokes and they laughed allthe time, do you know how embarrassed that is, everyone laughed except you. So Ipretend to understand the joke in another party, I saw everyone laugh and Ilaugh too in 5 seconds later. My home stay was surprised about that and asked me“do you understand?”， and I answered “no”， “So why do you laugh?” ”because I donot want to be embarrassed”!
But as I receive this award today, I want to thank to them, because theyencourage me to be involved with the committee rather than staying in at home,play computer and speak Chinese.
When I came to Wantirna College first time, I met liz collar who isinternational student coordinator. She is very kind to me, and she encourage mejoin SRC, I went to SRC meetings regularly all the time, but I didn’t even knowwhat SRC was! That is the reason why I told her, I don’t want to go to SRCanymore. But she said “why not? You should go and you have to go!”I asked” why?”she said:” because I said so!”
But as ii receive this award today, I want to thank her. She helps me alot.
Truth be told, I am not the best student in Wantirna College, but Iappreciate this award and I will try my best in future.
I think I got 10 seconds left, I want to thank to Les and Vera who is mylovely home stay, thanks to Liz collar who is international student coordinator,I strongly want to thank to my mother, because she support me and gave me theopportunity to come to Australia. And thanks to Wantinran College, thanks toAustralia and finally, thanks to everyone to be here tonight.
