labor*  n. 勞動；努力；勞工，工人

記憶技巧  結(jié)合派生詞記憶：laborer n. 工人  Workers are paid for their labor. 工人按勞獲得報酬。

laboratory*  n. 實驗室

lack*  v. & n. 缺乏，不足，沒有

【辨析】 large和big都用于指物體的體積、面積、范圍、程度、能量或數(shù)量。big更口語化，large一般不用來指人。Her husband is a very big man. 她丈夫身材很高大。

last  a. 最后的 ‖ ad. 最后；上一次 ‖ v. 持續(xù)，維持

【辨析】 late和lately都可以作副詞。late作副詞表示晚和遲：She married late. 她結(jié)婚晚。lately表示近來，不久前：We’ve been doing a lot of work lately. 我們最近做了很多工作。

【辨析】 laugh和smile; smile指嘴角輕輕上揚，表達內(nèi)心愉快的方式；laugh是針對某件滑稽的事情而作出身體和面部的動作，伴隨著聲音。另外laugh還有嘲笑的含義。
