Although the slogan in Shanghai, World Expo is "Better City, better life", many people think the city makes life worse! In cities like Shanghai, the air pollution index is all over the table. Currently,as the industry and agriculture develop so fast, the consumption of energy such as oil,gases or coals is dramatically increasing.On one hand, energy are urgently needed for the economic development.On the other hand,limited and unrecoverable energy, especially fossil fuels like oil and coals,can not offer us adequate supply.How long could the oil be used has been a controversy among the experts.Some think the store of the oil can only maintain for thirty or fourty years.but some other experts who hold an opptimistic attitude believe that the oil we have now are enough to support us for as long as one or two hundred years.Despite whether these opinions are true or not,for one thing we are sure is the situation of energy we're facing is becoming worse and worse.The crisis has alreay come.So we must face it and try to solve it ,because we really dread to think what will become of us if one day we live without energy.

Though we are aware of the energy crisis's coming,how to handle it becomes another tough problem.Nowdays,many countries are trying develop new types of energy which are clean and recyclable,for example,solar energy,nuclear energy and wind power.We hope, in the near future,these would be the subsititute for the fossil fuels.In addition, another important means is to improve the efficiency of using oil and to avoid extra waste during the process of refinement.Meanwhile,educate people to save energy is also necessary.

In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal University life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal University life.
Those, however, are not what University life is all about. As we all know, University is wildly different from middle school. It connects not only adolescence to adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. Therefore, the ideal University life is that I become matured both physically and mentally, and that I obtain qualified academic knowledge and get well prepared for society at the same time.
Under this circumstance, I never expect my University life to be too ideal, or you can call it too perfect. It is not realistic to make all things on my own way, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on. Of course, I’d like to lead a carefree life. However, this does little good to my future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjust treatment. Only after experiencing those can I know what society is like, and what life is like.
To conclude my speech, I wanna say, some positive experiences are surely part of the ideal University life. But, I should not forget about the negative sides. They are not less necessary.

They say that the consumption habit of the moonlight clan is unhealthy and sometimes wasteful. Weighing these two arguments, I prefer to the latter one. In my eyes, though the moonlight clan may acquire temporary satisfaction from their consumption, in the long term, it is unfavorable to their family and career. Just as a proverb says, one should always prepare for a rainy day.

For example, my classmate possesses one which has two persons bending low in shyness. The two bury their heads in caps, and the shirt carries the words,"Love in Caps".
Another shirt has the picture of a dog and the words "devoted friend" on it. Upon graduation. we each received one of this shirt asa souvenir of our life in university.
My friend Liu Hua bought two T-Shirts and she gave one to me. I took the shirt and saw the words,"Don＇t grndge yonrse]f." Seeing me wearing this shirt, the passers by would read out and say,"See, what good words have been written on the girl＇s shirt!"
All at once I seemed to be enlightened. I seemed never to have grudged mysclf anything and sccmcd to make others see the light. I seemed to hold my head higher than before.
It was a good feeling. It secured to me that life is wonderful when you are at ease and proud of what you are. A natural and unrestrained life.

我的朋友劉華買了兩件文化衫，送與我一件，上題“別苦著自己”。路人看到我穿著這件文化衫以后，常常有人看后念出聲來，并說：“瞧這小姐的文化衫上寫得多好！”
聽了這話以后，我一下子似乎想通了，頓悟了，似乎從未苦過自己的樣子，又似乎在點悟他人，頭也似乎比以前揚起了一些。
我頓時感覺良好，我能給自己松綁，蕭灑走一回，真是其樂無窮。

People take plastic surgery for different reasons. Some spend a great deal of money on the plastic surgery because they dream of becoming a film or TV star but they are not beautiful by birth. Some, however, have to take the surgery because of certain birth defects, such as harelip and lameness, and injuries in accidents.
