一個名叫World Database of Happiness的網(wǎng)站作了這樣一個調(diào)查，探討人們對生活的滿足感與什么有關(guān)系？他們發(fā)現(xiàn)財富和幸福之間并沒有必然聯(lián)系，也就是說錢買不到幸福。一個明顯的例子是關(guān)于那些因中而一夜暴富的人的：

那么，什么才是打開幸福之門的鑰匙呢？
Perhaps happiness has something to do with where you live. The authorities（權(quán)威人士、專家） at the World Database of Happiness have surveyed（考察） levels of happiness in different countries.
此外，調(diào)查還指出了親情的重要性：
Family relationships in particular seem to be the key to long-term contentment.（滿足） The Web site suggests that falling in love and having children are two of the situations that bring the greatest happiness.

case使案件、事例、情況的意思，許多人都用小case做自己的口頭禪，不是嗎？所以In most cases就是在大部分事例中的意思。這個most可以被許多詞替換，意思也因此發(fā)生細(xì)微的變化，比如：in the case of（在這個事例中，至于）In the case of a highly intelligent animal, elementary training is easy.就高度靈敏的動物而言,初級訓(xùn)練并不難。In any case（在任何事例中，無論如何）In any case, we will have to leave soon.無論如何，我們都得馬上離開。
